Celebrate Independence Day with One Flag, Two Cities, & Endless Events in Shreveport-Bossier

Happy 245th birthday to the United States of America! In Shreveport-Bossier, we’re celebrating Independence Day with craft beer, live music, firework shows, and more from June 30 through July 4. Dress up in your stripes and stars all around the 318 to honor the red, white, and blue. CANCELED – Paint Your Own: Patriotic Wine Glasses

Wednesday, June 30

5:30 p.m.-7 p.m.

Led by Shreveport-Bossier’s local pop artist, Lauren Ross Simmons, you can express your patriotism by painting wine glasses for 4th of July. It’s the perfect head start to the holiday. Red River Brewpub Independence Celebration

Friday, July 2

6 p.m.-9 p.m.

Sportspectrum Firecracker 5K

Saturday, July 3

7:30 a.m.-11 a.m.

Take off like a firecracker through the streets of Shreveport with the annual Sportspectrum Firecracker 5K. Registration fees are $20-$40. Click here to register.
