1. There are more than seven Cinco de Mayo events happening in Shreveport-Bossier:

  1. Annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta in the Park with El Cabo and Provenance Community, May 1

El Cabo Verde, along with Provenance Community, is back with the annual Cinco De Mayo Celebration at Windrush Park. Join the fun Saturday afternoon for dancing at Windrush Park from 2 – 9  pm and for food, drinks, and fun! We’ll have a Mariachi band and other fun live music, and there will be plenty of activities for the whole family. To cap the night there will be a spectacular firework display. Come eat, drink and enjoy our fifth annual Cinco De Mayo fiesta!

2. UNO de Mayo Pub Crawl in Downtown Shreveport, May 1

UNO de MAYO! There is no time for a siesta, let’s fiesta! Mark your calendars, May 1, for another fun downtown pub crawl at Parish Taceaux located at 708 Texas Street in Shreveport. There will be great food, a costume contest, and specialty cocktails what else could you ask for.

To participate in the pub crawl, receive a free drink at Parish Taceaux, and get a chance to win a $50 gift card in the costume contest, tickets are available for $14. Purchase by clicking here.

Check-in at 2 p.m. at Parish Taceaux. Get your passport to taste all the specialty cocktails! 3. Fiesta at the State Fair of Louisiana, May 2

Join us for Fiesta at the Fair on Sunday, May 2, 2021, for the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration in the region. Enjoy live music, Aztec dancers, activities for kids, a low rider car show, and a variety of authentic Latino foods.

4. Cinco de Mayo at the Lot in Downtown Shreveport, May 5

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo 2021 with friends and family at The Lot Downtown Shreveport on Wednesday, May 5 from 3 – 10:00 PM. Admission is free. Food trucks and art vendors are forthcoming; stay tuned…

5. Cinco de May at Louisiana Daiquiri Cafe, May 5

6. The Cajun Asian is launching an all-new Cinco de Mayo menu.

The Cajun Asian is an eatery in Bossier City that serves Cajun favorites like gumbo and crawfish alongside Vietnamese and Korean menu items like pho, spring rolls, and Korean-style short ribs. For Cinco de Mayo, they’ve added a Mexican flair to their offerings by introducing the PhoRitto, which is a play on pho and burrito. The PhoRitto comes in different flavors, Cajun, Steak and Chicken. 7. You can spend Cinco de Mayo in a Victorian Mansion if you join their Prohibition Club, May 5

You’ve never Cinco de Mayoed like this. Gain exclusive access to one of the last remaining Queen Anne Victorian Mansions in Shreveport with a private club membership that includes lunch and libations at the historic Logan Mansion in downtown Shreveport.
