WHEN: March 15-20, 2021 are the dates for 318 Restaurant Week, but the dining experiences are one-night only events. You can dine like a Roman in a toga costume at Noble Savage Tavern, indulge in a four-course beer dinner at Flying Heart Brewing & Pub, overlook the city with multicourse meal at Shreveport Petroleum Club, have an intimate dinner in one of downtown Shreveport’s newest restaurant, Fat’s Oyster House, and more. WHY: 318 Restaurant Week is Shreveport-Bossier’s way of promoting local restaurants by offering unbeatable deals around town. The support is especially important after the blows restaurants suffered as a result of COVID-19. Additionally, the effects of Winter Storm Uri in February created more than a week-long setback for many restaurants. 318 Restaurant Week was explicitly created to support restaurants, chefs, and foodies for one full week.

The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana partners with over 150 nonprofit organizations and churches such as soup kitchens, food pantries, schools, and homeless shelters.  Through these partnerships, they can reach over 75,000 people a year in Northwest Louisiana.  These are children, elderly, veterans, men and women, and families who struggle to put food on their table.  The work of the Food Bank is not possible without the support of our community.
