Although Mardi Gras parades are cancelled this year due to COVID-19, Shreveport-Bossier is keeping the king cake folklore afloat by serving traditional and unorthodox king cakes, as well as king cake-flavored treats. When I lived in Tn, Lilahs would bake me a king cake no matter when my cousin requested one be made, lilahs would pack all the toppings up, my cousin would freeze it for me and bring it up. It was always so delicious and tasted like it just cane out of the oven. Lilahs has my vote and business forever.
