318 Restaurant Week 2018 is here, and Rotolo’s Pizzeria locations in Shreveport and Bossier City are rolling out the Italian tastes with filling lunch and dinner specials that are easy on the wallet. For lunch, customers can create their own calzone or get a single-topping, personal pizza with an order of cinnamon bites with a scoop of ice cream, and wash it all down with a tea or soft drink for $10. Yes, only $10. The 318 Restaurant Week offer at Rotolo’s Pizzeria locations in Shreveport-Bossier is good through Saturday, March 17, 2018. Capisce?
With a wide range of pizza topping options, customers can personalize their pizza from the sauce to the cheese and over 20 other toppings. Call me “basic,” but I snagged a pepperoni pizza. This particular pepperoni pizza, however, could stand the test of time. The crust had that Goldie Locks factor…not too thick, not too thin, but it was just right. The sauce had a distinct flavor of a well-seasoned tomato sauce with a hint of sweetness that worked well with the crispy, garlic crust. I’ve never had anything like it. The pepperoni was sizzled with excellence, and the whole thing was mine to enjoy.
The personal pizza is the perfect size to make room for the devilish sensation of desserts, the cinnamon bites. I was served 11 balls of cinnamon delight drizzled with caramel and white glaze icing for the final touch to my lunch. Just in case that doesn’t have you at the edge of your seat, the scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream will definitely seal the deal for your experience. The warmth of the oven-fresh bites, subtle flavor of cinnamon, sinful decadence of the glaze and caramel, plus the cool smoothness of that ice cream creates the ultimate savory and sweet fusion we all need from time to time.
318 Restaurant Week is sweeping across Shreveport-Bossier, March 13-17, with $10 lunch and $20 dinner specials at 35 different restaurants. To learn more about 318 Restaurant Week, visit www.318RestaurantWeek.com. Ciao!
