The third edition of Eat Here: A Food Lover’s Guide to Shreveport-Bossier, a publication of the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau, has arrived! The 32-page, photo-filled guide to Shreveport-Bossier’s local food and drink scene can be downloaded or viewed at Shreveport-Bossier.org or can be picked up in-person at the Visitor Center located at 629 Spring Street in downtown Shreveport. If you live outside of Caddo and Bossier parishes, you can call 800-551-8682 and request a copy of the brochure by mail.
Each edition of Eat Here, which was first published in 2014, features a different selection of “Celebrated Bites” – well-known dishes from unique local eateries – as well as a changing selection of smaller editorial features. The third edition features sections highlighting new restaurants, food trucks and local chefs and eateries that have appeared on television. From the insanely hot snake venom wings at Wing Taxi to the $20 burger at The People’s Market, this edition of the guide is filled with culinary creations that we think readers will enjoy.
The cover of the third edition features the “unicorn cake” created by Buttercups Cupcakes, which 20×49.com blogged about here. Two outrageously talented photographers, Jennifer Robison and Hannah Spence, helped us create the front and back covers. During the photo shoot, we were joined by Moviesauce, who produced this short video about the guide:
Please take a moment to check out the third edition of Eat Here and, if you enjoy it, consider sharing it with your food-loving friends. If you love this kind of content about local food and drink, please check out our ongoing Eat Here series on Youtube. We’ve got more of those videos in the works for 2017!
