If you’re a fan of regional high school football, chances are good that you’re already familiar with the annual Landers Dodge Battle on the Border High School Football Showcase. Now in its seventh year, this event features top high school football programs from North Louisiana as well as select teams from throughout the south. The 2017 Landers Dodge Battle on the Border High School Football Showcase will be held, Sept. 8-9, at Independence Stadium in Shreveport.
Match-ups for 2017 include: Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK) vs. West Monroe High School (West Monroe, LA); Pearl High School (Pearl, MS) vs. Parkway High School (Bossier City, LA); Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN) vs. Bishop Dunne Catholic School (Dallas, TX); Grayson High School (Loganville, GA) vs. John Curtis Christian School (River Ridge, LA); and Moss Point High School (Moss Point, MS) vs. C.E. We’ve got a stack of free tickets to the 2017 Landers Dodge Battle on the Border that were provided by Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (SPAR) to be given away to 20×49.com readers on a first-come, first-served basis. To claim a pair of these general admission tickets (face value $10 each), just stop by the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau at 629 Spring Street in downtown Shreveport during our normal business hours. Limit one pair of tickets per guest.
We’ll be giving away these tickets beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6 and will keep handing them out ’til they’re gone. If you’d like to call to confirm that there are tickets left before heading our way, just give us a call at (318) 222-9391.
