On Sunday, Dec. 19, Louisiana Comic Con organizers announced that Seth Gilliam, who portrays the spiritually conflicted Episcopal priest Father Gabriel Stokes on the hit AMC series The Walking Dead, will appear at Louisiana Comic Con: SBC, which is slated to take place on April 22 & 23, 2017. Gilliam has also appeared in the cult classic television series The Wire, the HBO series OZ and the MTV television series Teen Wolf.
Louisiana Comic Con: SBC will be held at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum and the State Fair of Louisiana Fairgrounds Complex in Shreveport. Advance tickets may be purchased through Eventbrite and tickets range from $5 for kids aged 2-8 to $30 for an adult weekend pass. Other guests that have been announced for the two-day event include actor Johnny Yong Bosch (Trigun, Bleach, Power Rangers, Yo Kai Watch), wrestling legend Ted Dibiase, Marvel and DC Comics artist Bob McLeod and more. Flyers for the event also mention cosplayers, a costume contest, gaming panels and an appearance by Ecto NOLA, a fan-built prop car paying tribute to a certain bunch of ghost-capturing professionals from New York City.
