The Rockets Over the Red Fireworks Festival will be returning bigger and better than ever, 3-7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, with festivities taking place at Shreveport’s Riverview Park as well as Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets in Bossier City and a huge fireworks show over the Red River beginning at 7 p.m. One of the absolute best places to watch the fireworks will be the rooftop of Sci-Port Discovery Center, where there’ll be a VIP party for event sponsors beginning at 4 p.m.
The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau (publishers of this blog) have provided two (2) family packs of four (4) tickets to the VIP Rooftop Watch Party at Sci-Port Discovery Center, which will be a family-friendly event to be given away to lucky 20×49.com readers. The prize package includes food, refreshments and one of the absolute best possible views of the enormous fireworks show at 7 p.m. As an added perk, winners will also get a sweet VIP parking permit for Rockets Over the Red – which is a prize in and of itself!
There are three ways to enter this giveaway: “liking” the Facebook post about this contest, commenting on that Facebook post, and leaving a comment on this blog post. All three methods of entry will count as separate entries, so you have up to three chances to enter to win. Entries must be received by noon on Tuesday, Nov. 22. Good luck and enjoy the fireworks!
This event is presented by the City of Shreveport. Other sponsors include Cumulus Radio, the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau, Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets, Greater Bossier Economic Foundation, Whole Foods Market Shreveport-Bossier City and LSU Shreveport. Television coverage of the event will be broadcast on KTAL News Channel 6.
