If you’re one of the 1,488,169 viewers who’s ever checked out Theresa Andersson’s 2008 YouTube hit video “Na Na Na,” you’re already familiar with her uncanny ability to perform live while playing a plethora of instruments, sometimes even using her feet.

Now, you have a chance to see how it comes together live when the Swedish-born, New Orleans bred musician performs live each Thursday night, starting this week, Jan. 31 through Feb. 28 at Bistro Byronz as part of its Nocturnes Series.

For those who may not know, Andersson has a unique connection to Shreveport. She currently lives here with her husband, Arthur Mintz, the renowned puppeteer behind the popular theater version of Fantastic Mr. Fox and their daughter, according to the Bistro Byronz website. In addition, Andersson has been a regular on the New Orleans music scene and has toured all over the world showcasing her unique musical style.

Who knows, stop by for a show and you may get to hear some of the music from her latest album, Street Parade, as well as music from her previous albums and compilations. In the meantime, if you haven’t already gone to YouTube to see it, check out the “Na Na Na” below.
