Free Stuff for AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl Fans!

The 2012 AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl, featuring the ULM Warhawks taking on the Ohio Bobcats, kicks-off at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28. Each year, a handful of local businesses really “go the extra mile” to woo Indy Bowl fans before and after the game. This year, we’ve spotted some great freebies for ticket stub-carrying fans and out-of-town guests. Here are just a few of the promotional offers making the rounds:

Free Admission to Big Smo featuring Cody Cooke and the Bayou Outlaws
Riverside Warehouse (FB link), 630 Commerce Street, Downtown Shreveport, 21+
Doors open at 8 p.m. – Present your Independence Bowl ticket stub for free admission

Do you like mudding? Country music? Rap music? Country/rap music about mudding? If so,bring that I-Bowl ticket stub to Riverside Warehouse on Friday night for free admission to catch Big Smo with Cody Cooke and the Bayou Outlaws. These tickets would normally be $15, making this offer one of the better ones that we’ve seen promoted. We came across this info on the Riverside Warehouse FB page – check it out here.

Free Cajun Bloody Mary, New Orleans Hurricane or Fountain Beverage at Crawdaddy’s Kitchen
Crawdaddy’s Kitchen, 9370 Mansfield Road, Shreveport
Present your Independence Bowl ticket stub for one free drink

If your team loses, Crawdaddy’s Kitchen invites you to drown your sorrows with a free bloody mary or hurricane after the game. If your team wins, they invite you to celebrate with the same – just don’t rub it in the losers’ faces. This restaurant can be really fun when it’s hopping and Louisiana crawfish are in season, as they are right now. Follow Crawdaddy’s Kitchen on Facebook here or link directly to info on this special offer here.

Free Admission, Cheap Drinks at Phoenix Underground with an Out-of-Town ID
Phoenix Underground, 600 Market Street, Shreveport
Show an out-of-town ID for free admission

The Phoenix Underground nightclub in downtown Shreveport is waiving their normal door charge for guests with out-of-town ID’s on Friday night following the game. They’re also offering “Beat-the-Clock” drink specials featuring $1 drinks, 9-10 p.m., $2 drinks, 10-11 p.m. and $3 drinks, 11 p.m.-midnight.

There’s still plenty of time to make plans to attend the 2012 AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl. Ticket info is available on-line or by calling (318) 221-0712.
