So Black Friday has come and gone, but you’re still looking for ways to not give the same ol’ gift this holiday season.
Well, skip the gift cards and electronic gadgets and go for something more unique and culturally rewarding, like a cool, colorful piece of art.
Head downtown to artspace for their ongoing shopping exhibition, “Presents,” which features unique works of art by some of our area’s most amazing local artists.
Featured artists include Contina Pierson, Kristye Addision Dudley, Kathryn Usher, Talbot Hopkins Trudeau, Robert Trudeau, Hooshang Khorasani and many more. The pieces are available for purchase right off the shelf at reasonable prices that won’t hurt your pockets.
In fact, if you’re like me, you might see so many things you like, that you wind up treating yourself as well.
And best of all, whatever you purchase will go toward supporting these talented regional artists so that they continue to make such beautiful artwork.
Even if you don’t make it out before the holidays, it’s not too late – the exhibition runs through Jan. 7.
